UW Health University Hospital at 600 Highland Ave is the Madison facility associated with UW Health’s employee-based Nurse Residency Program. New graduate nurses complete a twelve-month sequence of learning and work experiences while beginning practice in UW Health patient-care settings. The hospital receives its own entry because the residency is nondegree employer education, not a University of Wisconsin academic credential, and because its physical participation is tied to the health system’s clinical environment rather than an online relationship.
