How information is used when you explore GoNurseGo, choose a nursing pathway, or contact us.

About GoNurseGo

GoNurseGo helps people explore nursing education, compare school and program information, and find conferences. CERCE WEB LLC operates this service, based in Somerset, Massachusetts.

Browsing, search, and the Nursing Guide

You can browse the directory and Guide without a consumer account. Search choices and map views may appear in request URLs. The Guide uses your answers to show pathway options; it does not create a saved personal profile.

Hosting and application services process requests to return pages and results. Technical information can include IP address, browser information, requested paths and query strings, timestamps, and errors. We do not promise that searches or coordinates can never appear in hosting or access logs.

Location and maps

The nearby-school feature asks for browser location only after you choose that option. You can instead enter a location manually. Location is used as an input to the school search request; it is not requested for advertising or to decide cookie rules.

The interactive map requests styles, tiles, map fonts, and related assets from OpenFreeMap at tiles.openfreemap.org. These requests disclose ordinary network information to that provider. External map services have their own privacy practices.

Contact and listing corrections

The contact form sends your name, email, topic, and message to the GoNurseGo contact service. Advertising inquiries also include the organization and inquiry details you provide. A listing correction also includes a verified school identity. The server validates the request, checks Cloudflare Turnstile, uses an IP-derived hash for abuse controls, and stores accepted messages in a protected Supabase-backed administrator inbox. An IP-derived hash is not proof of anonymity.

Resend delivers administrative email notifications about accepted inquiries. If spam protection is unavailable, the form cannot send. Please do not include private medical information, passwords, or other unnecessary sensitive details. Contact is not medical intake or emergency support.

Product Updates

When you choose Get Product Updates, we collect your email address with your consent for occasional GoNurseGo product and feature updates. We store your subscription status and consent history separately from Contact messages. Sending a Contact message does not subscribe you.

You may unsubscribe at any time using your personal unsubscribe link. Supabase stores subscription records, Cloudflare Turnstile protects the signup form, and Resend delivers signup confirmations and administrative notifications. For questions, contact info@gonursego.org.

Infrastructure and administrator access

Vercel provides site delivery and hosting/security processing. Supabase supports application data and administrator authentication; authentication sessions use cookies. Administrator access remains protected and is separate from privacy choices.

Cloudflare provides Turnstile spam protection. Resend handles administrative notification delivery. These providers process the information needed to supply their services. Processing locations and log retention depend on each service and its configuration.

Preferences and optional tracking

Browser storage remembers appearance, sidebar choices, and directory navigation state. A separate privacy-choice record stores category choices, policy version, decision time, and expiry for 180 days. It contains no account identifier, email, IP address, or precise coordinates.

Optional Google Analytics is available only on gonursego.org after an explicit choice, for limited public-page measurement. It remains off in Preview. Advertising tracking is off. Accepting Terms, sending a form, browsing, or closing a notice does not grant analytics permission. Global Privacy Control keeps optional analytics and advertising off under this product's conservative policy. This is not a claim about every law's treatment of analytics.

Retention and security

Directory return and view state uses session storage. Theme and sidebar choices have no application-set expiry; browser clearing can remove them. Privacy choices expire after 180 days. Sign-in-cookie behavior depends on the authentication service and browser.

Contact messages are stored for handling inquiries, corrections, and related business records. The administrator can delete them; the application currently has no automatic message-deletion timer. You may request deletion at info@gonursego.org. Security logs, email records, and backup copies have separate provider-controlled lifetimes, so deleting an inbox message does not immediately erase every copy. Access controls and abuse checks reduce risks; no system offers absolute security.

Your choices and questions

Use Privacy choices to review this browser's optional-tracking settings. Clearing browser storage may also remove display preferences or sign you out. Browser settings do not delete contact messages or other records already held by a service.

For a privacy question or a request that may apply to your information, email info@gonursego.org. Explain the request without sending medical information or credentials. You may ask to access, correct, or delete information you provided. We may need to verify your request and retain information needed for security or legal obligations. Your applicable legal rights are not limited by this policy.

Young people, outside links, and future changes

GoNurseGo is a general-audience education directory, including for high-school students and adults. Browsing is open and family-appropriate. If you are under 13, do not send personal information through forms or email; ask a parent or guardian to contact us on your behalf without unnecessary details about you. If you believe we received personal information from a child under 13, contact info@gonursego.org so we can review and remove it.

School, regulator, conference, and other external links lead to separate services with their own practices. The Massachusetts and Rhode Island pages include a GMEC course advertisement linking to its external course calendar. Displaying that banner does not enable advertising tracking. GoNurseGo does not sell inquiry details as leads, take payments or donations, or offer public accounts. New optional purposes require a fresh relevant choice.
