Harborview Medical Center
Harborview Medical Center is the Seattle hospital setting for UW Medicine's Nursing Residency Program. New registered nurses learn with clinical preceptors and take part in classroom training and recurring seminars. The residency develops the transition from nursing school into hospital practice, with attention to clinical reasoning and evidence-based care. Harborview's program is distinct from the University of Washington's academic nursing degrees.
