Lehigh Valley Hospital–17th Street
Lehigh Valley Hospital–17th Street in Allentown participates in Lehigh Valley Health Network’s nurse residency. Nurses enter the structured transition program through eligible employment and complete workplace learning after finishing their academic preparation. Residency completion is nondegree professional development, not an initial nursing credential; the hospital’s role is to host the new nurse’s employment-based learning and clinical participation.
