Geisinger Community Medical Center
Geisinger Community Medical Center serves as the Scranton location for participation in Geisinger Health System’s nurse residency. The program adds organized education and clinical development to a new nurse’s employment transition. Because it begins after completion of nursing school, the residency is not initial RN preparation or a graduate degree; applicants connect with it through eligible nursing work at the medical center.
