Campus Overview
About this campus
Samaritan Albany General Hospital is a named site for Samaritan Health Services’ current transition program for newly hired graduate nurses. Participants complete a six-month curriculum that pairs multidisciplinary classes with one-to-one clinical guidance from a preceptor in their assigned work area. Samaritan also provides specialty-transition opportunities for experienced RNs. Availability at Albany depends on current positions, so a fellowship specialty should be associated with the hospital only when the opening confirms it.
