About this campus
UMaine Machias hosts the Downeast Nursing Track, a dual-degree partnership with the University of Maine at Augusta. Students complete liberal arts and college-studies coursework in Machias or online while receiving UMA nursing education online. Nursing lab and simulation experiences take place at UMA's Ellsworth Center, with regional clinical learning completing a multi-location pathway toward a UMA Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
