Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula offers an eight-to-twelve-week residency for nurses who graduated within the preceding two years. Participants spend most of the program working individually with clinical preceptors and the remaining time in classrooms and skills laboratories. Weekly cohort discussions support reflection on practice. The hospital’s current nursing menu also identifies specialty training opportunities, with availability determined by the employer and participating departments.
