Mat-Su College hosts a UAA bachelor’s nursing option in Palmer. Its nursing teaching space represents several care environments, including a hospital ward, intensive care setting, clinic and patient home. Students work with nursing faculty locally while progressing through UAA’s professional curriculum and clinical education. This is the current prelicensure bachelor’s pathway in the Mat-Su area; the former local associate program has been superseded.
