Providence Alaska Medical Center
New graduate RNs and experienced nurses entering another specialty can join Providence’s Clinical Academy at Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage. Residents complete classroom and online learning, simulation, guided clinical practice and a project. Experienced-nurse fellows receive specialty preparation and virtual fellow education. The hospital also has a separate nursing professional development fellowship, whose learning arrangements should be discussed with the employer. Participation is connected to nursing employment opportunities.
